Frosty: Sorry to hear about your little one. Those can be trying times. My eldest son was hopitalized for a day last week. He is 26, but I still wanted to be there for him. I looked after my grandson through the ordeal. Everyone is fine on this end now. Wish you all well.

Just as any parent should be qualified to make decisions on the welfare of their children. Each child is unique. One size does not fit all. Lets not group them all together, but let them grow.

Teacher: I now agree with you as well Frosty it took a while but we got there However I do believe that teachers need to try to support the individual needs of the children they teach I try it is not always easy but at least I try and I think that that is important too But it is the family's job primarily.

Frosty: Teacher; Now I totally agree! Each child is different. They can't all be lumped together. Some can handle, some can't. The parents should pay attention to this and not lay it on the teachers. The teachers need to be allowed to teach, the parents must guide and support their individual children.

Teacher: Sorry. I am sure that we are on the same page but I only agree with part of what you have said because I believe that it has to do with the temprement/make up of the child as well as how they are treated. Some children can handle things that others can not.

I just think it is odd when some believe they are MORE qualified without knowing anything about who they are talking to.

Frosty: Teacher; Go to a County Fair and watch the love and attention that children give their animals, yet these same children are exposed to such things as cutting cattle, ringing hogs and butchering. It's not what they're exposed to, but how they are taught. They are great, compasionate children.

Teachers ask for parents to be more involved. I agree, but let's cover the 3 basics and right from wrong.
