in response to the stupid dummy: Hydrochloric acid has a ph between 1 and 2 ill give you that, but it rarely ever leaves your stomach. Coke, on the other hand,goes through your system and into your blood stream . And, you need a substance with a basic ph to be able to neutralize an acid.
